FAQs:
How long will it take to make my print?
The estimated time for making your print is roughly 30 minutes. You may also need to allow some time to practise.

Do the paints contain any harmful substances?
The paints contain no harmful substances. They contain 84.7% Calcium Carbonate (chalk) and 8.5% cornstarch which is simply the starch of corn (which is often used to make crisps). The paint also contains 4.2% EVA (Ethylene-vinyl acetate) which is a binder for the paints and is regularly used when making babies bottles & dummies and harmless colour pigments. These pigments are CI pigment red 21, CI pigment pink 81, CI pigment green 7, carbon black and CI pigment blue 15.

How do I remove the paint?
As soon as you have finished the prints, remove the paint from your child's hands or feet by rinsing with soap under warm water. Although the paint is not harmful, if you allow it to dry it could very occasionally cause temporary staining.

Can I mix the coloured paints?
It is possible to mix the paints but we do not advise it as there is no guarantee that you will get your desired colour and you may risk spoiling your canvas.

When I am practising it seems that the paint is too light. What am I doing wrong?
Your paint has dried. To avoid this, we recommend that you dip the paint into the water in several times during the application.

What if I get paint on my clothes or furniture?
We recommend that your work area is adequately covered by old sheets or towels. If paint does spill onto any furniture or upholstery please wash the area immediately.

How will I hang my canvas?
You can display your canvas by resting it on a pin in the wall. You will not need to attach anything to the canvas to do this.

Is my item Giftwrapped?
This item is sent direct from our supplier and does not qualify for Giftwrap by us. However it is presented in a luxury metal Gift Tin with a printed sleeve. You can also have a covering letter included inside, with your personal message. No invoice or payment details will be included with the gift, making it ideal to send direct.
